Rain and snow forecast for next week.
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rains will enter the western and upper parts of the country on Tuesday and will remain in the upper parts till Thursday. Due to which:
Rain / snow forecast for Quetta, Ziarat, Pishin, Zhob, Qila Abdullah, Kohlu and Barkhan during Tuesday and Wednesday.
From Tuesday to Thursday morning Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Chitral, Dir, Kalam, Swat, Malakand, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Charsadda, Bajaur. Karam, Waziristan, Kohat, Bannu, DI Khan, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore and Kasur. Possibility.
Light to moderate snowfall is expected in Murree, Galyat, Nathia Gali, Kagan, Naran, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Astor, Hunza, Gilgit, Neelum, Bagh and Haveli districts from Tuesday night to Thursday.
Possible effects:
Rainfall will be beneficial for wheat crops.
Landslide threat in Dir, Malakand, Hazara, Swat, Kohistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Possibility of reduction in recent heavy fog.
